Flora Mugambi-Mutunga
Senior Community and Education Consultant

Flora is a member of the Senior Leadership Team at the Town School for Boys, San Francisco, as the Director of Community Building and InclusionFlora was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya and immigrated to the U.S., where she received a B.A. and an Masters of Education from South Western Oklahoma State University. She earned a certificate in School Management and Leadership from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and Harvard Business School.

Flora partners with San Francisco Equity Leaders in independent schools and provides a range of workshops through the California Teacher Development Collaborative. She is a trustee at Horizons-San Francisco Friends School. Flora is passionate about collaborating with stakeholders to promote diversity in all its forms, social justice, global education, and service-learning. She brings this passion and experience to all she does for Teach With Africa.

Marianne Emblad
Communications and Events Consultant

Born in Sweden, Marianne immigrated with her family to San Francisco at the age of 10. She has a B.A. in Political Economics from UC Berkeley, and an M.B.A in International Business and Marketing from The Anderson School at UCLA. Following her passion for travel and the international community, she has worked in the travel industry ever since, focused on Marketing, Events, and Strategy at Buffalo Tours, AAA, Club Med, and United Airlines. 

Through her travels, Marianne has seen the inequality of access to a good education and is passionate in her work with Teach with Africa to help bring about change.

Moua Lo
Design, Website & Social Media Consultant

Moua has been with Teach With Africa as a design, website, and social media consultant for over 8 years.  She believes strongly in volunteerism and has served in leadership roles with several nonprofit organizations. Moua currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network – SF Bay Area Chapter (YNPNsfba).
