We are delighted to announce Teach With Africa’s 17th Anniversary Celebration event on March 26th. Our mission is even more important today as we grapple with global inequities in education, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa.

During this annual celebration, we celebrate you, our valued supporters, who help us fund core needs and programs that transform education in the African and Bay Area communities we serve.

Chef Adair will provide gourmet cuisine along with fine wines. Come and enjoy music, silent auction, and a Fund-A-Need as we honor Rachel Hollister, an amazing educator.

Event Honoree: Rachel Hollister

Rachel Hollister, Kindergarten Head Teacher, Town School for Boys

Rachel Hollister has been a Kindergarten teacher at Town School for over 11 years.  She has brought the love of learning to thousands of students in San Francisco. Her enthusiasm for working with students and peers has deepened their joy of learning and fostered an environment where everyone can reach their full potential.

Through Teach With Africa and the Global Teachers Institute, Rachel has brought her passion for teaching to expand their impact and mission while also deepening her own growth as an educator.

Since its inception, Teach With Africa’s annual fundraiser has presented guests with an opportunity to learn how TWA maintains its reputation as a transformative agent of change. We have impacted over 175,000 students, sent 200 U.S. educators to Africa, and partnered with over 25 U.S. schools that have hosted more than 4,500 South African educators.

Please join us in making your own mark on Global Education at this celebratory event!
